Please join your local OWA friends, colleagues, and future members for a fun and relaxing morning away from our "optical desks" on Saturday, October 3, in Stockton, NJ. OWA Out & About is all about connecting in person while enjoying wellness activities and building community beyond the workplace.
This event is 1 hour from Philadelphia, 1 hour from New York City, and minutes from Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
For this central NJ-area gathering, we'll start at the foot bridge for a scenic view of the Delaware River, followed by a casual 60-to-90-minute walk along the DNR Towpath in Delaware Township, NJ. Enjoy the beauty of this area, reconnect with familiar faces, meet new members of the optical community, and enjoy the meaningful relationships that make OWA so special. Please feel free to bring colleagues who are interested in learning more about joining the OWA!
If you own an OWA T-shirt, please wear it during the walk.
After the walk, feel free to explore surrounding river towns minutes away (NJ: Stockton, Frenchtown, Lambertville, PA: New Hope) for coffee, lunch, antiquing, wineries, etc.
Please meet in the parking lot on Bulls Island (state park) — Delaware Township, outside of the ranger station. Click here for information about Bulls Island Recreation Area. Porta-potty available.
