The annual OWA Champagne Breakfast was indeed a "tribute to the stars" in the celestial-themed ballroom at the Hyatt Regency. The 2026 "star" honorees this year were: Susy Yu (Pleiades Award), Liz Friedfeld (Pyxis Award), and Cathy Firman (Emerging Leader Award). A brand-new award — the Polaris — was presented to Alessandra Senici!
The OWA continued to celebrate its 2026 Star Awards recipients, as well as the 2025 OWA Scholarship recipients, at their annual VE networking reception. A great turnout, good conversation, delicious food, and a fun photo booth made for a splendid evening and lots of memories!
