The financial support provided by these 45 companies benefits our Professional Development Fund (PDF), which in turn makes all our educational and professional programs happen.
While it's true that we are an organization run by volunteers, there are still costs associated with all our programs. The PDF — thanks to our sponsors — allows these costs to be covered while keeping our dues at a minimum.

Our sponsors' support is important for reasons other than financial, however. They support us in myriad intangible ways, from encouraging their employees to learn and grow with the OWA, to leadership (male as well as female) participating personally in our programs, and promoting the professional growth of women within their corporations. Some even host regional OWA events.
