My friends call me: Bidisha
I am the: Senior Managing Director, Transitions Sales
I joined the OWA in:2016
Words my colleagues use to describe me are:Team player, Inclusive, Authentic, and Attentive
The career advice I would give my 18-year-old self is:Believe in yourself and seek opportunities even if they are outside your comfort zone. Don’t be afraid of failures, because it is inevitable at some point in your life, but failure will also teach you to get back up and be more resilient for the future.
When I think about my career, I'm most excited about:Being in a profession that has a social focus, how at Essilor our business decisions directly make a difference in the world by improving lives by improving sight.
Daily, I read:Just before I go to bed, I spend 15 minutes or so reading an article or two from “The Economist”. A great magazine that covers political, social, economic, and business news from all over the world.
My theme song is:I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack
I recommend:Treating people right; just the way you want others to treat you.
