The OWA hosted its first San Diego Regional Event on November 30, 2018 and featured an evening focused on leadership, a discussion of the OWA business book selection "Earning It", networking, and creating handmade ornaments. As part of the "DO MORE" campaign, the attendees, who were all professional women, optical and not, partnered with "Dress for Success" and brought gently used items to donate to women in need entering the work force.
