What are MENTOR TALKS? A one-hour facilitated discussion with a broader group, featuring topics relevant to the indicated career stages. ALL members are invited to participate — both mentors and mentees. We continue to learn from each other!
This meeting will target the "Mid-Career Stage", and discussion will focus around the topic of "redefining success" — what success looks like now vs. in earlier stages — and leveraging your experience to change or expand your career. Jackie Janiec and Karen Michaelson will be your hosts.
In this stage, you may consider reevaluating your goals, interests, and skills. Like many mid-career professionals, you may face the choice between achieving greater success in your current role or transitioning to a new position or an entirely new career. Additionally, work-life balance is often a concern during this time. You may face the challenges of succeeding in your professional life while devoting time to family and activities outside of work.
A mentor at this stage will offer leadership skill building, advice on work life/balance, etc.
