Join us for the second OWA Dialogue event! This newest OWA member benefit is a series presenting dynamic and diverse guest speakers who will spark conversation, open perspectives, and inspire personal and professional growth. You'll hear from key thought leaders as they draw on their experiences to offer insightful perspectives on a variety of trending topics.

You're invited to attend an engaging panel discussion on a highly requested topic from members: "How To Assess and Step Into a New Career Move."

Attendees will hear about the career experiences of fellow OWA members and optical industry veterans Josephine Austin (Ocuco), Rebecca Giefer (Modo Eyewear), and Dibby Bartlett (Good Vision USA) and gain insights on how to navigate personal career pivots and milestones. OWA member Nancy Dewald (Lead Up Training & Consulting) will moderate the discussion.

About the Panelists / Moderator

Rebecca Giefer

CEO of Modo Americas.
Based in New York.
Develops business strategy and oversees sales and operations.
Started at Modo in 2004 as a customer service rep and quickly rose to leadership.
Voted one of Optical's Most Influential Women by Vision Monday in 2016.
Served as Board Member of The Vision Council for seven years.

Josephine Austin

Human Resources Director at Ocuco.
Based in Dublin, Ireland.
Leads development, implementation and management of all HR policies, strategies, and operations.
Brought 17 years of management, HR, sales and marketing experience to Ocuco upon joining.
Versed in project management, change management, business strategy and marketing.
