The career advice I would give my 18-year-old self is:Pursue a career you are excited & passionate about. This way it never feels like work. But have a skill you can also fall back on, just-in-case....
When I think about my career, I'm most excited about:The connections I facilitate between patients & providers. It's the ah-ha moment for them. When people feel empowered to discuss their problems, symptoms, or concerns, they feel comfortable, unashamed, and able to ask for help AND provide helpful feedback to their provider. It's a win-win.
